Curve comprise friendly mixed, open and women’s teams playing Ultimate frisbee in Clissold Park, Stoke Newington (Hackney, North London). We welcome players, new and experienced, of all abilities, ages and genders - both those who want to develop their game and play competitively and those who want to play for fun.
WHERE WE PLAY:
We play mixed ultimate in the north west corner of Clissold park (where the North London Summer League games are played). Nearest tubes are Finsbury Park or Manor House (then 10 mins walk).
PRACTICE/PICKUP GAME TIMES:
We meet for pickup games in Clissold Park on Sunday afternoons (currently starting at ~5pm), and play outdoors in Clissold Park from ~6.30pm (during Summer). During Winter we play indoors in Wood Green on Wednesdays from 7pm.
On bank holiday weekends the pickup game is played on Monday at the usual time (rather than Sunday).
Bring a light and a dark top and water!

COMPETITIONS/SUMMER AND WINTER LEAGUE:
Our competition side normally plays as Curve. In 2009 we will be playing:
- grass – Tour (mixed, open and women’s) plus various fun tournaments (e.g. Copa, Glastonbury)
- beach – Paganello (open and women’s) plus probably a couple of others e.g. Burla
- indoors – Regionals (open and women), Nationals (open and mixed), Aye-Aye
- London Summer and Winter Leagues
